Teams from Mackay, Ayr and Townsville clubs have registered to be part of the inaugural carnival. Don't despair even the rain won't stop Sunday Hockey. Look for us at the Under Covered Area if raining. Join us from 1pm for Juniors, 2pm for Intermediates and 3pm for Seniors/High Schoolers.

Junior Players - Indoor Season Finals

Our junior Hockeyroos will join into teams for a series of round robin games for the last two weeks of indoor season. Lead by our Junior Coaches each team will have the opportunity to play their newly learnt skills in mini games before we head to the grass for the Outdoor season, 16th May.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Bowen Hockey is a successful recipient of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund round 106. This very generous grant will allow the Association to purchase four state-of-the-art light weight hockey goal boxes. Delivery is expected mid March 2021

Fair Play Vouchers

Bowen Hockey Association is a registered activity provider for the Queensland Governments Fair Play Vouchers. The voucher is $150 that can be used towards the cost of hockey season registration. There is a limit of one voucher per child per calendar year. Applications close by 17 March 2021 (or earlier if fully allocated) and must be used by 12 May 2021. Pre-Season training kicks off Bowen State High School Boys & Girls teams

After only one week back at school our BSHS Girls and Boys team have hit the field for their first 2021 training sessions. Both teams are keen to play a full schedule of games against Townsville, Ayr and Mackay based teams though out the 2021 season. NQ Hockey Trial dates for 2021 will be advised over the coming weeks.
